What are Shadowflame Crest?
Shadowflame Crest Fragments are special items that can be used to upgrade Dragonflight Season 2 PvE items. There are four types of fragments: Whelpling, Drake, Wyrm and Aspect. Each type corresponds to a different difficulty level of Aberrus raid bosses and Mythic+ dungeons. You can also get fragments from various sources in Zaralek Cavern, such as weekly events, quests, rares and assaults. You can also buy some fragments from Spinsoa with Unearthed Fragrant Coins.
What are Flightstones?
Flightstones are another type of item that can be used to upgrade Dragonflight Season 2 PvE items. They are obtained from completing Mythic+ dungeons and Aberrus raid bosses. The higher the difficulty level, the more flightstones you get. You can also buy flightstones from Spinsoa with Unearthed Fragrant Coins.
How to upgrade gear in Season two?
To upgrade your Dragonflight Season 2 PvE items, you need to combine Shadowflame Crest Fragments and Flightstones at any Item Upgrade NPC, such as Cuzolth in Loamm. The amount of fragments and flightstones you need depends on the item version and rank you want to upgrade to. You can upgrade your items from Explorer rank 1/8 to Hero rank 5/5, or even to Mythic rank if you have the right items.
